I found these vintage train cases at Goodwill for $4 each. Great condition, just in need of cleaning. Even the tags were origional, an added plus. My son's girlfriend and I decorated our cases with rub on transfers (available at craft stores) and then sealed them for protection. Three coats of Mod Poge each...finished with two coats of an acrylic spray sealer. We used gloss on these for a faux patent leather look.
Fun and whimiscal. I plan to do another with a more vintage feel, old world maps, etc., and a matte finish.
